Implants & Implant Crowns

If you are a patient with a missing tooth and want to have it replaced without involving other teeth, the best treatment is an implant.  A dental implant is the closest option we have available to us that looks, feels, and functions like a natural tooth. A little-known fact is that dental implants have the highest success rate of all medical devices, and are backed by a plethora of studies showing their success and efficacy. 

Implants are a 2-phase process. 

Phase 1: The first step to get an implant placed would be to have a consultation with a surgeon who will place the implant. After consultation, planning, and implant placement is completed, we work closely with the surgeons to make sure healing is on track so that there are no surprises.  

Phase 2: After healing is complete, patients come back to our office to have the final implant crown placed. This is a similar process to having a crown placed on a natural tooth, but we utilize special tools and techniques to make sure the implant crown is in place and functions just like a natural tooth.
